Interplay''s near-demise has been confirmed

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

It seems Interplay has stabilised for the time being. Have a look at this.

I am just a worthless liar,
I am just an imbecile,
I will only complicate you,
Trust in me and fall as well.

I just hope that they sell their rights to Freespace so that someone can make FS3!

as Titus is the parent company of I-PLay the rights to all their games will fall in to Titus's hands , they cant be sold without Titus's approval and i doubt Titus are likely to sell any IP's any time soon

Titus, if it goes to bankrupsy(sp), means its assets are frozen. Interplay still owes people a lot of money as well as employees. If the parent company can not help, it wont be long before its gone. They said they only have 1.2 mil left. That is barely able to pay its debt, let alone produce a game to make profit. Their best bet is to sell off a ouple of games for capital to operate on.

Interesting. Take 2 Productions now are reporting worse than expected financial results.

I wonder if there is something going on with games makers that's larger than just an occasional hiccough here or there.

Bah, even here I'm reminded of Interplay. I was a moderator there for quite some time. I was a moderator on BIS boards before they moved us to Interplay forum. We should have NEVER moved our forum.
I hate Interplay's management and I seriously hope that Herve Caen gets what he deserves from screwing up one of the BEST companies ever to grace our world.

RIP BlackIsle Studios. Gone, but not forgotten.
