Fun, yet...boreing!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Hell any of the final fantasy series

i loved 7 the best cause of the story. the scene where Sephiroth leaves cloud in the remeberance sequance in the town of Kalm is of the most memorable. The way they drew him walking through the fire with his masamue blade disappearing after him...was great work for its time...i have played that game since the day it came out!!!! has a save game MAXED OUT!!!! 999:99:99 hours!!! everything done all the "weapons" defeated 4 gold chocobos and atleast 12 of each master materia i am a FF7 dork but i love it!

it was awesome the square put out the ORIGINAL 2 FF games o na cd a while back...it was the game that go me addicted to video games back when nintendo was the S*** back in the day...good ole FF1
that and Galaga....who doesn't love galaga...i mean come on it was one of the best games ever made

That part was the bomb. I liked the part where Aeris is praying(or something I'm not sure) and Sepiroth just comes from above like a kamikaze dive bomber and just stick that sword right through her back. For some reason that stirred something inside me.

*Shakes head* You're not making any sense again Heltak.

The "Forest" level in Painkiller. That's fun, but it's a small map with heaps of enemies and not much ammo. To top it off, you have a bunch of witches flying at incredibly high speeds pelting you with fireballs. They are so hard to hit!

1984 - Orwell, gets slow in the middle.

and Dominion : Storm over Gift 3 gets boring

Here's my top 3 :

3. XIII Cutscenes - unskippable in places and sometimes far too long
2. Planet interaction and solo-play cutscenes in Freelancer
1. All of the cutscenes in the Hitman series. I love the games and the cutscenes are wonderfully compiled, but after you've seen them once you just want to skip them and get on with the game.

Zelda Ocarina of Time- the looong cutscene you have to sit through when you first meet Zelda. Made even worse by the fact that you can't do something else while you're waiting cos you have to answer little Yes/No things every now and then.

@Heltak- 1984 never gets slow! That one in the bookshop (can't...remember....name...), now that's slow.

Well, this is my new sig. Small. Doesn't do any tricks either. No bouncing up or down or spinning... Bah. Youths these days, with all their bright lights and shiny wossnames...mumble....mumble.

*Shrugs* @ Corsair

I felt 1984 was slightly boring in the middle before ending well, Animal Farm however has me enthralled! It ties so well to the world.

Half Life's Xen section. Quite possibly the WORST part of any game...ever. IT...JUST....NEVER....ENDS

"I've seen things you people wouldnt believe.
Attacked ships on fire off the shoulder of orion. Ive seen C-Beams glitter in the darkness at tannhauser gate.
All those moments, will be lost in time, like tears in the rain.
Time, to die."

I've got to agree with Heltak on 1984, the section where the main character is reading from a book on politics goes on forever, and you start to forget that there really was a fiction story in there somewhere.

"Half Life's Xen section. Quite possibly the WORST part of any game...ever. IT...JUST....NEVER....ENDS"

it was completely dire; but even that I could live with if it wasn't for all the dam' jumping! fortunately they (Gearbox) took most of it (the Xen cr*p) out in Opposing Force, which was good, but then they (Valve) put it back in for Blue Shift, which was bad.

..fold your hands child, you walk like a peasant..

I remember Xen. I just ended up putting "ghost" mode on after about 20 attempts!
