I know about annoying neighbors. Out of my south window, our neighbors have a miniature skating park setup in their yard. I think that's bulls**t, because it's summer here in the U.S. and school's out. There's going to be a lot of skating next door and it's driving me and my animals nuts.

Mee - Do you mean skateboarding? Indeed, I used to have a lot of problems with the dog when people used to skate past. Why do they have to be so loud? It has to be one of the most irritating pasttimes for kids in my view. Well, apart from throwing things at the house .

At least the skateboarders are doing something fairly healthy. I can't stand the idiots on scooters and go-peds. They've got ****ty little engines that make a noise like a pissed off bee, and they race each other up the hill along my road all the time, sometimes with up to 4 people riding at once making an even worse noise. When the little runts get older they buy old Ford Escorts or VW Polos and then put the most expensive sound system possible in, so that they can play garage music as loudly as possible .
But wait it gets better! Once in a while we get things like last night when one of them has a free house and they all turn up outside to play their music as loud as possible from 12am onwards! This is soon followed by drunkeness and the roughest girls you've ever seen appearing out of nowhere.

Rec - That's probably true. Those scooters *are* bloody annoying, but Vespas aren't too bad most of the time, but the cheap ones... they sound like trucks!

It's the 40+ generation that invented partying.

Plus, everyone knows that absolutely the best rock and roll came from that generation.
