i got details sent to me of the TA bases in kent, and a letter telling me that my details have been sent to the ta base in ashford, and they will contact me to arrange an interview for joining the ta.

All i did was ask for some addresses for the kent bases so i could arange something where i was to go there and take some photos.

ff in the TA! what a thought, one minute snapping photos, next you're on a C-130 heading for Basra. Have a nice time!

you CAN shoot, can't you?

Nevermind heading for Basra, being shot down over Basra by a modified RPG.

SHARP SHOOTER! We have a confirmed Sharpshooter!

Post Fri May 28, 2004 6:40 am

do sharp shooters hit everything aside from the intended target and hit someone elses target 30 meters to the right?

Post Fri May 28, 2004 6:46 am

Um no... but put it this way you'll never miss with a chaingun.

Post Fri May 28, 2004 6:50 am

since when would a sharpshooter with a rifle use a chaingun, and where or why would the ta need them?

yeah, its definitely one of those programs that you either get or you don't. Personally I love it, but I have a bit of a twisted sense of humour.

There's a guy at my school just like that! When he gets to wear his own clothes to school he's in combat fatigues. And last time I was doing sports at school he was in the gym doing the bleep test in preparation for joining the marines next year. It wasn't long before he was telling us he knew how to kill someone with a knife and trying to demonstrate the hand movements on us!

Erm, how the hell did we get on to this? I thought that we were discussing photography .
