I play DF:BHD too, I hope Team Sabre fixes the flaws in it. It could have been a superb game, certainly as far as the environment goes esp in Mogadishu, it's excellent. But the AI is dreadful, the missions can be ridiculously hard to do (as in impossible) for simple and stupid objectives, and some of the levels have had insultingly low design values - Sonic the Hedgehog is better thought out. There is a good game there underneath and of course it shines in MP, but DF originally was as much about quality SP campaigns.
Do you shoot the skinnies when they throw rocks at you? I almost always do, it's really hard not to - a very realistic touch in the game that.
it's superior to DF:LW & TFG, but there's a long way to go before it matches original DF for gameplay, and it's still way behind Ghost Recon or other tactical shooters. Let me know honestly what you think of Team Sabre and I might give it a whirl.
..how I dearly wish I was not here..

Team sabre is good but they STILL left out COOP.....kinda aggravates me cause i lvoe coop missions....but the SP missions are great all in columbia and Iran...and your question about teh skinnies....umm HELL yeah....after i saw the flick and the game was out i shot at all those people with a vengance....but it was light years ahead of LW but it needs better AI all the way around
The newest installment...Joint Operations...it seems to be awesome...i DLed the demo when it came out it was spectacular....can't wait to get my hands on the actual game.....picture Battlefield1942 with DF:BHD graphics x 2 and in the same generation of BHD....its a graet all around Multiplayer experance....a must have for the multiplayer gamer!!!!
but yeah Team Sabre is a good expansion its worth getting it is cheap now like barely $19.99 brand new at best buy...but it is fun none the less.

Mine:
Intel Mobo (can't remember the model of the top of my head)
P4 2.6c 800FSB
512 Mb PC3200 Corsair RAM
Soundblaster Live! Platinum (I really gotta get around to upgrading it)
Winfast A350 (FX5900 128Mb)
Sony 17" LCD Screen
Logitech z680 speakers
Cordless logitech moose
MS Interweb keyboard
As for Battle:Vietnam, meh. I bought 1942 and really didn't understand the hype.

You discovered that DVD burners "rock" because they can store 4 GB on each DVD? I could have told you that! Personally, I'm waiting for a 12x dual-layer burner before I buy one. It will be a while before they are cheap enough to be worth it though, and there would hardly be any media for them. After all, there still isn't that much 8x media here in Aus.
