I got my grandfather that book for last Christmas. He's reading it and loving it. I plan to read it after he is done.

If any of you have Rise of Nations (another excellent game), in the intro video they show of of the huge chinease Junks dwarfing this dinky Spanish warship. Really nice computer graphics. Check it out sometime. Oh, and if China had conquered the new world, there would have been little difference. Europe would have still claimed the East coast eventually and would simply keep pushing west. It would have been a lot bloodier, but same result; Damn western civilization taking a foothold in the new world. --- VH16

Whoever came up with "Mission Commision" should be lined up and shot
