Let me fist explain the school system here in The Netherlands:
Primary School --> VMBO (lowest kind of junior high/high school)
Primary School --> HAVO (middle kind of junior high/highschool)
Primary School --> VWO (toughest kind of junior high/highschool)
VMBO --> MBO (lowest kind of university/college)
HAVO --> HBO (middle kind of university/college)
VWO --> WO (the real university)
I'm making my exams on the VWO level.
I hope things are a bit more clear now
Today was Math B1,2.
Here in Holland you have Math A1,2 and B1,2. The stuff you learn is different. A is easier as we like to say
B1,2 is the heavy stuff (that's what I do)
Back to the exam. We have 3 hours to complete every exam. For the first ever in my six years I didn't complete my work. We just had to little time to complete it. Luckily we have some kind of comittee (sp?) we can mail to to complain. Sometimes that comittee can even change the result (in a positive way).
In the first 20 minutes after the exam they already received 204 complaints (in a country like Holland with a small group of VWO a big number).
