a new privateer game in the works??

i don't know if advertising other games even in the off-topic is allowd or so but anyways:

Ok, I have rescently stumbled across this site not too long ago.. Its opensource and its possibly free. It's called vegastrike which can be located here:

No multiplayer in vegastrike yet bit if you know c++, you could help the vegastrike development and make it happen faster.

One of the closest privateer game I could ever find compared to x2 the threat which was supposed to be focused more on a stragety/starship tycoon more than just fave xvt/freespace/wing commander type of action..

To my best knoledge, I know that theres not going to be a freelancer 2 any time soon.

Why are you claiming that it is a "Privateer" game? That's misleading, it is totally different. It is a space flight-sim and not a new version of Privateer!
