this is one for the uk members: are there any hot rod builders in the uk? yellow pages doesnt help

well we used to order in a hot rod magazine at the shop I used to work at, so they're definitely around, just most of them do it as a hobby.
What are you up to ff?

I would like to say that it is a 360 Spider but if it is, it must be a model prior to the current ones. The side air scoops should extend beyond the doors and dig deeply just before the rear wheel wells.

Also, overall, the car is too squared off for current models.

kimk, youre a twonk. A hot rod (by ASRF definition) is either a Customised or Restored car from BEFORE 1945. After that, cars are defined by their style, Customs, Classics, Muscle Car, Street Machine, etc.

Basically, the most recognised rod would be a 1932 Ford Roadster, aka 'Rat Rod'

look on the search engines for pics of rods.

man! who the **** buys a ferrari and paints it a godawful yellow?! URGH! How to ruin a nice car. Talking of which, anyone see "Jordan" (the false "thing from essex" ) on Top Gear last night? She's talking about buying a Aston Martin DB9 and painting it PINK! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! oooh if I had a gun...
