This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Im a Lego addict!

Well, picked up good ol' Lego last week, and so far i built two tanks, a walker, a spaceship and a VIP-Transport.

Any of you guys build stuff with Lego? C'mon don't be shy

Guess what? I have 5648 and fifty broken pieces of Lego now.

Yeah...
I love Lego. I've built a podracer (not from those crappy Star Wars packs, just normal Lego), a massive bunch of spaceships/hover tanks (they have to be hover 'cos I only have 3 sets of wheels ), a few Star Trek ships (Star Wars are too hard ).
These days I've lost most of my Lego, but I still use my wee brothers' pieces to built Robot warrioprs when I'm bored.

bah, new fangled Lego is easy. Back when i were a lad we had real Lego that was just Lego and b*gger all else, no Star wars or Bionicle or Harry Botter (hocus-poke-arse) rubbish, all we had was our imagination blah-blah-blah.

In fact I even had 60's and 70's lego alternatives: Penny Bricks (they were ace) Stickle Brix (not so good) and Fischer-Technik (god that was hard)

..you shut your mouth, how can you say, I go about things the wrong way..

I'll maybe post some pics in the coming days. Don't expect anything special from me, tough

Glad to hear someones who also build/t Lego

I still have that "old" lego - the best thing i saw ever was my babysitter built a mouse trap out of lego (humane mousetrap), which worked.....it worked so well that the mouse chewed through it in a bid to get out, and therefore escaped.

That was the most imaginative thing i ever saw built anyways (by someone i knew that is!), and yes, that was before all those packaged lego stuff.

i used to build all kinds of stuff, i had to make a choice between keeping a huge crate of lego in my room, or getting a computer.

I usually just build war machines. Right now I have a walker(not from a movie) a transport vehicle/mobile artillery and a mobile anti-air/scout vehicle.

i always build stuff with legos! i like building things with wheels. about 5 years ago i found a big bag full of wheels at a garage sale for 10 cents. but i dont have enough parts to do really cool things

there are some really cool lego creations going around today visit mocpages.com, it will make you all want to get into lego as a serious hobby especially sci fi fans look at the spacecraft section.

my favourites are Keith Goldman's creations, all hail the "iron reich" http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/1562

Eons ago, yeh, it was fun building houses, and a few other things. Though tinker toys was about as popular then, the early 60's.

Back in the 70's me Mum used to work in a dept. store selling Lego and she used to bring home garbage bags full of the stuff. Course I was completely crap building anything, I was really more into pulling things apart to see how they worked and then not knowing how to put them back together again.

Post Fri May 21, 2004 5:57 pm

that sounds fun! i love building things, but afterwards, i never roll the cars around or anything (even when i was a young 'un) i never even wanted to take them apart and make somthin new. all i liked was building

Ya once you build something(and it's good) you just don;t want to take it apart. I had to take some of mine aprat when I moved. Then I buil;d a new set(some of them the same because I safely moved some of the older ones in pieces). Then I moved again now they were all broken
