you dont need halo pc to illegaly mod Halo on Xbox. But I see no need to mod it it is great how it is.

Consoles may be cheaper, but the XBOX only has a glorified Geforece 3 GPU (from memory), and you can't use AA or AF when you want to.

So what? Its still fun. Plus you can play with a friend without having to play over internet.

but with reduced screen size thou, and snipa u dont need the internet to play games with your friends thats what LANs r for.

good god. screw a LAN party! im not gonna carry a 17" moniter + good speakers + the tower + 3 miles of wire!!!

maybe i should invest in a good laptop

@wolfy i wouldnt unless all u want to do is to word process, they r ok for the first few months with games after that not good gaming machine.

I should know since i have one, which cant play any games that needs directx 9 (which all the lastest games do now) without crashing at some point.

I think this is starting to become a console gaming vs. pc gaming kind of thread. I play on everything, XBOX, PS2, Gameboy Advance, I use them all. PC is my PRIMARY gaming platform, but I use it for more than just games, though. I also use it for movies, music, e-mail, and research. No more fanboys! I sense a *click*.

Next-Gen consoles? Remember the Sega Genesis? All you had to do was attach the Sega CD and 32X with a GameGenie and some more prepherals and not only did you have a new console but you also had a ladder to the moon and caused a rolling black-out!! AND WE LOVED IT GOSHDARNIT!!!

i really like consol games, but all these companies that make consol games fail to get my interest (cept halo and halo 2) most of my games are all PC

wolfy, all you gotta do is take your tower to a gaming lan, the monitor and speakers are allready there

what if the moniters dont suite me? i wont accept anything smaller than 16" and mine is 17" so its a loss to me for a 16". and i love my speakers, i bet they are like really bad ones....
