The Windhexe

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

The Windhexe

I just caught this on the internet. It sounds pretty interesting. This Windhexe is supposedly able to turn anything into a fine powder. It produces hardly any heat that you can let the powder that comes out of the bottom run through your hands. It also is able to "powerderize" wet objects. There's also a funny quote on the website:

"Conspiracy theorists, meanwhile, propound that the technology was given to mankind by aliens because it appears to create a product that produces far more energy than is put into it — what science fiction writers call a “perpetual motion machine.”"

Here's the website:

If this works as well as they say, I bet Frank Polifka, the inventor, will make butt loads of money.

Defenatly different. But can they make get rid of garbage dumps? time will tell.

What it does is reduce things into a fine powder. There are many different industrial applications for that capability. Ore processing, for one.

But I don't think that this will get rid of pollution. All it can do is reduce some pollutants into a fine powder. You still have a pollutant on your hands, now in powdery form... don't even know if that is a desirable result.

Just had a horribly interesting thought...couldn't this thing put crematers out of business?

Damn you Esquilax... Beat my joke about turning people to powder...

no we didnt kimk

did too. (actually don't think we have, but I thought I'd just join in to be petty )

fascinating story...I hope it doesn't just become a flash in the pan, like the majority of interesting inventions that could potentially put multi-international corporations out of business. And as for what do we do with the powder...well I'm 100% sure that someone eventually will mix it with a little tobacco and sell it to the gullible (me) as being a legal way to get high

Crematoria either will buy the equipment or continue as before. It takes some doing to get the air moving inside the vortex machine. That normally implies the use of energy either electricity or some kind of fuel. Do not underestimate the mercantile powers of these guys, they are the ultimate in opportunistic capitalists.

Probaly the same density of a rock crusher. That would help with land fills and aother disposal aspects. Don't want to fall in, no one would ever know what would hapen to you.

This was a reply to another post, but it disapeared.

@Hunterkiller...please use the edit button located above your post and dont double post...thank you

@the topic If it can reduce anything to powder, does that include stuff like diamonds as well?

Post Fri Dec 10, 2004 12:06 pm

I dont understand. Is this a machine that just grinds stuff into a powder, or a chemical that does it somehow? If its a machine, I doubt it would be able to crush diamond >_>
