the only person I'd lock regularly would be Esqy, for no other reason than it would just p*ss him off. Actually I'd delete all his threads and posts and publish his post count and take bets on how long it would take to get to zero.

Making Taw a Mod would be like putting a gag on him. That would be a shame. Besides how do we know that he already isn't some kind of undercover Mod?

Not based on the Tawakalnic School of Choice by Process of Criteria for Elimination, I think that both Esqy and SnS COULD make good Mods. The point would be that their past behaviors (except for purposes of considering eligibility) don't really mean all that much because if duty calls and they accept, they're gonna have to change anyway.

@Indy, maybe that's a question we should pose to the existing mods. How much have they changed since taking the job? The only thing I can tell from when I did my 50 Observations is that mods use to post more.

SS - Yes it is ironic, but I don't like being predictable .

The only problem with these sorts of threads, is that while they are a fascinating exploration of people's views of other posters, they also have the potential to alienate others who feel that they have contributed in a big way to TLR. Additionally, Bargib and the Mods select people based upon their personal views, and do not hold votes presumably due to the reason outlined above. No offence to anyone, and I hope that I don't seem ungrateful for all of the nicer things that you have said about me .

I put my faith in Gib, I've never had reason to disagree with his choice in Moderator. IMO he makes a top notch selection everytime, except for me of course, now that was a real balls up.
