Let's get something straight here. If you really DO look anorexic, it is waaaaaaay beyond skinny. It is like the shots you see of the nearly dead in famine stricken areas.

If you cannot keep your weight on so that you don't quite have the curves your want, that's a different story altogether. Count your lucky stars because as you get older, the fat accumulates no matter what you do.... short of very serious and continuous
work outs and careful eating (note, not dieting but eating).

Careful what I'm eating, there's a difficult one I love eating, but then again I guess if I have to I can be very careful.

I'll be honest, I like a girl who is fit. She doesn't have to be super thin but she does have to keep a trim figure and look hot in a pair of tight jeans. I honestly could never be with a girl who is overweight, If I keep myself in shape so should she.

A good personality is a great and is the real clincher but you have to be sexually attracted to a girl in the first place.

I agree on that Mustang, so many people complain about staying fit, you know, cant do it, it doesnt work, dont have time, well make time and get it to work damn. As far as girls go, personally, I would rather have a better looking girl. I dont like bony chicks as in the girls who are incredibly skinny, but being fat is really really ugly and very unhealthy, besides how good do ya think a fat girl feels when it comes down to sex (yeah i know, but there is no relationship without it) . I dont really care about fashion, I try to look for a girl who looks good, preferably more fit, not as in muscle fit as in fit enough so that she keeps a mind on what shes eating and that she has somewhere to burn it off if she does eat alot. I was pretty chubby as a kid (19 now and am at about 147 pounds or so, thanks to care taken about what I eat and martial arts each week) but a good 4-5 years ago i was just about 200 or so. And that isnt just ugly its pretty damn unhealthy. I try to find a girl who is intelligent, I dont need her to be a rocket scientist just basic knowledge , if im talking to a girl, and ask her a question about something and she doesnt sound dumb, good enough for me.

I dont like serious girls either, I try to be fairly funny much of the time myself and personally wouldnt stand having to live with someone who is too serious to ever be funny. What I think is for a good long relationship I would find a girl with a good balance of smarts and looks. But im still not into that yet, so mostly ill pick girls on looks moreso than anything else (hell if she dont look good whats gonna make me wanna get up and go talk to her in the first place?) besides right now personally theres things that make up for her not being too bright (if ya catch my drift hehe) .

I ain't tellin' you nuthin' sw!

Everybody's tastes vary, and the opinions of the people on TLR will provide you with the opinions of a very small sample with specific interests, thus making it hard to generalise the results.

Thinness is disgusting. im going to keep this one simple, with a quote from my mate, Maelin:

Wow, out of all the topics I've seen while lurking, this is the one that made me register. Go figure.

Anyhow, I just go for the girl who has "fitting" traits. Like, all her traits fit together quite nicely and seems natural. Personality and looks don't really matter to me.

I'm just amazed at how some girls think that they are, for the lack of a better word, fat. its becoming a problem, with self esteem dropping, so does the pounds, and some girls a complaining of being hungry. im sick of hearing them ***** about how hungry they are cos they skip breakfast, just to be thin, and whenever someone suggests they eat breakfast, the cry out - "i dont want to fat!"
it sickens me how people can treat themselves so poorly, this also goes to anyone who cuts themselves or continuously put themselves down whenever someone gives them a compliment.

The hardest thing ive ever done is trying to talk someone out of commiting suicide. with them standing with the gun to their head.

i'll stop being morbid now and burdening you with my problems.

Look I don't agree with starving yourself , but the problem is some girls will miss breakfast and then have eat a greasy burger for lunch. Where as had they decided to eat a lunch that was lower in fat they could have quite easily eaten breakfast and maintained a better metabolism. Diets are bullsh*t and they don't work, eating healthy and excersising regularly is the trick to maintaining a healthy body.

I hate to say this, but i hev a body that just isnt capable of getting fat. but thats also helped by the fact that a walk nearly everywhere. a greasy burger isnt appetising for me. sausage rolls are my weakness, especially when theyre smothered in tomato sauce...
*ducks off to get sausage rolls*

PS: i do eat healthily. i just like a balance of the good stuff.

of course in a civilised society, a man can have up to 3 wives, plus concubines and mistresses, so he gets the best of everything

dont worry vi, it'll all change when your older, most adults will tell
you that.

@mustang diets are for overweight people with unhealthy eating habits, so to
lose weight they go on a diet. Once they have lost the weight they should have
picked up some healthy eating habits. They need to exercise as well 'cause the diet is only half of it.

I disagree, starvation diets shock your body into loosing weight, which isn't healthy and they take a LOT of fortitude to see through to a conclusion. If said fat person, took a healthier approach to his/her diet, limited their portions and combined a little light exercise the weight would come off regardless and they would have an improved metabolism in the long run. It may take longer than a starvation diet but you would have a much healthier much happier person at the end of it and they would have made lifestyle changes for the better.

Christ now you've gone and made me sound like one of those guys who try to hock crap exercise equpment on late night info-mercials. I hope you're happy! not all diets are starvation diets, there are a huge variety. Thye actually say the best diet is a life long diet, that means to eat right, becus all other diets make you lose weight and when you stop with it you just pick up that weight again
