Britain have mothers day in march, the rest of us have it tomorrow.
I got my old dear a Jamie Oliver cookbook, so she can't start cooking me some decent meals.

WS - Mother's Day is like a truce day. It doesn't mean you agree with her on everything. It is the day you just acknowledge that you still love and appreciate the fact that she is your mother. That's all.

How about a day off... for her... in some way. Something(s) that she always has to do that you'll do for her instead (that you can do because you're not too young to do it, that is).

Hmmm what could a 12 yr. old do for mothers day. Well I sure ain't spending my money.Maybe I could to that stupid coupon thing again. I had to do it in school(I thought it was idiotic). Anyways the project was reaaal clever, you made a coupon book to give to your mother. Like it could have things like"was the dishes" or something like that.

Well, we're celebrating the Mother's Day on the first Sunday of May. And, we have a Father's Day (some celebration for me) on the first Sunday of June. Apparently, there are different dates for the same occasion (actually, I didn't know that before, and was surprised to see this thread now).
What gift to bring? Flowers, and try to be as good as you can.

An idea came to my head and is now desperately searching for brain

I'm planting several boxes and planters of flowers for my mother. She'll have a semi-garden.
