wireless mouse

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Depends on whether you buy an additional battery and the quality of service of the people you buy it from.

However, getting back to the memory effect, lithium ion batteries have zero problems with it. You don't have to do that charge, fully drain stuff to prepare it either. NiCads also have "little if no" memory effect. It depends on the chemistry employed.

Down side to Lithium Ion batteries.... expect to have to replace them after 2 years. Over time, the chemical composition breaks down and they build up too much internal resistance to discharge the power that may be stored in them. The failure in Lith batteries is sort of sudden. NiCads have less internal resistance to start but also will chemical degrade over time. Could not find a solid expected life but the degradation starts immediately.

NiMh batteries have memory effect problems.

<edit>

And price. Lithium ion batteries generally cost more. Still, two years' useful life is pretty good amortization of the cost.

The I-C3's that I use are NImH 2000mAh, I have not noticed a reduced performance due to a 'zero' effect in over 5 months

i use a corded optical no problems at all but the one side effect is i hate analog mice and cordless are to hard to maintain i rather do the "cord tango" than charge the mouse every few days less to worry about

I hate wires, so I got a wireless mouse. the fact that the Keyboard is wireless isn't realy an advantage I think, cuase every now and then the special characters get mixed up. You know, these: ><:"/}{.,/;'\[ etc.

my mouse works on batteries btw, and it lasts for about 4 months, which is more then enough I think

wireless rubbish. more fashionable junk that doesn't work. I'm so anti-wireless, i'd ban it. A complete waste of time.

How did I know that Taw would say that? He's still living in his tied-down world .

But I agree, cords are still the way to go, as I have stated before.

Actually, my wireless mouse performs better (I think) than my corded one {yes, its optical}...
