Nope, sorry but that rule is a firm one and besides it's not place to change it. If you really want it changed talk to the master and commander (Bargib). I don't know what brought this on though? I haven't locked a religious topic for a while, at least none I can see on the board.

It really is for the best that the topic is just avoided completly, it and politics both for that matter. There is nothing wrong with the topic themselves, it is where they lead. People can have such firm views on those topics that someone is bound to say something that offends another person on the board. From there you can pretty much guess how it goes. If you would like to discuss politics there are a number of boards that you can find online that deal with politics and with politics only. Yup it's really that some people have such firm beliefs and unfortunately try to enforce those upon others. Which of course, ends in a heated argument. You really only need to look to Palastine and Israel for the reasons why we don't have religious discussions here.

Anyway, I think this thread has served it's purpose.
