The importance of gun safety

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

The importance of gun safety

Sorry for the spat of news posts recently but this has got to be one of the funniest news stories of the year. A cop was doing a presentation on gun safety when he accidently shot himself in the leg. Can you imagine the hazing he's going to get when he gets back to the station?

I saw a similar aciddent during a karate demonstration. This guy was waving his katana round, showing the crowd his slashes and such. When he twirls it around a little too quickly, he sliced off his own toe!! hehe.

He had it coming .

He obviously doesn't watch much TV either. Anytime I've seen a cop handing over a weapon,he removes the mag, and then ejects the round in the chamber, and Then hands it over.

The police don't think too highly of TV, it always exaggerates (sp?) real life detective work. So I wouldn't bank on many PCs/POs copying the TV, in fact, I'm rather glad they don't.

One of my friends, he went to england and was very tempted to mock the cops by saying, "What are you going to do? Blow your wistle at me?"

that's an idea, RILMS. then the rozzers get you in an armlock, beat the sh*t out of you with their truncheons IF they haven't already pepper-sprayed you first, cuff you very tight, chuck you in the pig-ccar, take you down the pig-hole, degrade you during the arrest and booking procedure by making you wear your keks round your ankles and parading you in front of other prisoners, take you into a cell and kick you within an inch of your life until you're ready to confess to anything, then fit you up with all their unsolved burglaries and thefts as well as accusing you of stealing all the property you've got on you like cash and watches and jewellery, which becomes "evidence" ie birthday presents for copper's relatives. Then when the beak asks how you got you're injuries, well you fell down the stairs while resisting arrest of course! and of course there will be atleast 4 witnesses to your "fall" all coppers of course who are all fellows of unblemished character.

can you tell how i love our British bobbies? (sorry G'paul, nothing personal about your dad, but they ARE the enemy..) still that's what happened when i gave a copper some lip when he was being a pr*ck.

and people want to give OUR cops guns? geddoff, i'd be well dead by now.

Taw i don't like the job he does and i've told him to change it but if he didn't have it we wouldn't be able to pay our aol broadband monthly rate or buy food etc. Fourtunatley i'm not going to follow in his footsteps i'm going into retail

All police forces have a good smattering of knobs that got into the job just so they could be d*cks to people. 10 bucks says that most of them would be heavily involved in crime if they wern't coppers. Actually now that I think of it a lot of them probably are heavily involved in crime regardless.
