You know, this is the first year that I've had when I haven't had to study. It's nice having all of this free time without assessment tasks to complete *rubs it in* .

Shut up Esq! I'm stuck doing frickin data flow diagrams today and oh how I hate doing them. Freedom is not far of, I will soon rise up again and claim my weekends for my own guilty pleasures.

This is the first year I really had to start working....it's my final year and now they want to fit al the work we usually do in 4 terms into 2 And then we get big projects to do as well ans sport and all that stuff. The best of all I'm bored to death in all but on off my subjects! its not fair

We've had to do some work this year (I'm in year 10) but not really that much. I don't get banned from the computer though, even when I have a major coursework assignment in for about 2 days' time

but that's true NK, isn't it, now they pass you just for turning up and writing your name at the top of the paper. GCSE's are given away in corn-flakes packets. I look at the stuff my daughter does (and she goes to a good school) and I know it's less advanced than when I were a lad ebagum eee it were ard when we wus naht but bairns..

"Morale of story - do ALL your school work, AND revision BEFORE logging onto TLR or playing games"

Problem is getting OFF TLR to do homework in the first place

Is it me, or does everyone hate Rhineland? I mean, give them a chance! They only hunt you for about 99.9[% of the Single Player! Thats good....right? I mean, they could hunt you for ALL the Single Player.....right?.....hello?

Parent evening tonite...but my parents aint goin cus they get told the same stuff everytime

Post Tue May 04, 2004 11:48 am

I'm not allowed to go to my daughter's parents evening, she thinks I'm an embarassment

Post Tue May 04, 2004 11:53 am

Kids always think their parents are an embarassement - it's the way the generation gap goes. I think the one that took the biscuit for me was my mum starting to sing along to The Who at some teacher's leaving party...
