updmgr.exe

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

updmgr.exe

Is this an essential file? if so is there somewhere i can download a program to clean it of viri/ trojans? there is no need to go off on one about kazaa etc.

Could not find anthing about it on MS. Or in a general search. May be a bug.

Wel, well, well, look who's come crawling back!

That particular file is the main piece of spyware that is run by Kazaa as I recall. If you delete it, Kazaa stops working. Must... resist... saying... "I told you so"...

Hey ff; I told you so!

You should probably use Kazaa Lite if you must use that particular piece of trash .

I can't believe youre asking how to do this kimk, we've covered this about 5 times in the last 12 months. Simply disable msgms as a service on startup and lo! Msgr doesn't start. I don't recommend trying to wipe it, as it's linked in with various other Windoze stuff, but use msconfig and look in "startup" and "services" and you can't go far wrong.
