Remember that the MB is the most important part of your PC; it is the foundation for any system, and good quality is a must. As Taw and Chips have said, ASUS are good, as are Abit. Abit are especially good for "enthusiasts" because they allow for more BIOS tweaking; eg . overclocking. I may get one myself next time I upgrade. You could also go for an MSI MB, which are supposed to be quite fast and of decent quality. If you are intertested in going for an AM64, then I'd strongly recommend waiting for PCI Express MBs.
I might go Abit precisely for that reason, Eskie. I was looking at the IC7, I really like it, but the top-end Gigabytes have more multimedia features (doesn't bother me much but Mrs Taw insists on my pc being family access, even though they all have their own pcs
you won't catch me going AMD. sorry, still not sold. it's not THAT good. Intel still no1 for genuine power and reliability.
