Anyway, this got me thinking (wow) why do we openly discuss downloading music and whole episodes of TV-shows, while if we're talking about downloading games the thread gets locked?

No, I'm serious. I've seen several threads where both you and Taw encourage people to use E-mule instead of Kazaa.
E-mule is also used for downloading games, which you are all against. So much that even the most harmless topics only slightly mentioning warez gets locked.
So, my question is not so weird I think when I ask you all, what's the difference between d/l music and d/l games?

Nick - If you mean why hasn't this thread been locked, perhaps it is because no-one is actually advocating piracy, but only the use of the programs which can be used for such nefarious purposes (at least you could argue that). Apart from that supposition, you'd have to ask the Mods why they haven't stepped in.

By the way, I DO NOT recommend people use ANY P2P software, but eMule is a better option than the other spyware-ridden alternatives.

With downloading, pics, files exctera, has anyone had any better luck with download excellerator than I did? Timed a couple and IE downloading did as fast if not faster. Most of the time, I'm only after info, so data isn't too bad.
