This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

@kim yes taws description is pretty accurate
i wouldnt say so much foul as an aquired taste a bit like pastis ,ouzo or pernod
goes a cloudy green when water is added (sugar is recommended as well)
spelling well absinthe or absenthe is acceptable
strength about 70% alcohol as an average ie 7 times what wine is and about 2 times normal spirits
the wormwood is the thing that i would describe as the active ingredient
the french banned it as well ,but as the swiss kept making it and the result was it was being imported ;they relented and allowed it again
if you do ever try it go easy on it though
i dont know if it will be obtainable where you are

Oh man, Quit prescribing him alcoholical substances, the boy is still 15, you can just as well prescribe him acid or hallucinogenic toadstools, if you want a dream inducing substance, take those. TAKE NOTE: THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED BY ME!!
alas, as much as I have sought my library, I have been unable to find an easy-to-make recipe for the lad to use (and I can tell you gentlemen that my library is quite large).
EDIT: I have even sought my Library of Sith Recipes (is a Forbidden thing, but for him I would make an exception, only thing is, it takes quite the knowledge of Alchemy)

Loc is right! Stop setting a bad example! *Distributes random thwacks*. Kimk, just because you don't remember your dreams, does not mean that you don't have any. They say that there are certain types of meditation that you can do that allow you to experience more vivid dreams, and also enable you to retain better memories of them. I would suggest trying that.
The Easiest way(apparently) to get really weird dreams is to eat a significant amount of MSG, although this may sound impossible, it's not, it can be bought at the shops, mix it in with your food, and most chinese take-away stores include MSG in thier food, and it has been scientifically proven that, even at ginormous quantities, MSG has no side effects unless your one of the .01% of people that are allergic to it or have some sort of different way of metabolising it.
The Weebl & Bob episode "Space Mushrooms" has some good music, combine with vodka, and you'll dream just fine

No longer banned in the UK? Wow.
I don't know about the rest of the world but you cannot get the "original" absinthe anymore over here. It has been banned. What is available here in the US today is purely alcoholic in nature with none of the "other" ingredients that made it so ... uh ... dream inducing. So if you can get it here, it either is fake or contraband if the real thing.
So I guess you can say that no "real" thujone (wormwood extract) laced absinthe is available here. It has other herbal flavors like anise... which makes it seem to be similar to pastis or a less sweet anisette or sambuca.
Thujone is considered to be a psychedelic compound.
