Deep space, the final frontier...Episode 1 part 4

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Ah, he appears at last. Where would any series of Star Trek be without its "friendly" omnipotent being, eh?

Keep em coming!

That's the one with the weird guy who thinks he's an alien, and is doped up on some memory-repressing drugs, right?

Post Wed Apr 21, 2004 3:40 pm

no, not that one. that one was the one where he really was an alien in the end and these were flashes of his memory, MacGuyver took him back to his world which was of course toast. His fellow aliens who'd come to Urff with him, didn't want to go back but he did and was gonna take their space podule so they doped him and put him in some cr*ppy job in Sh*tsville.

This is a totally different story from that one, and from a much later series. Q is some nasty govt guy being horrible to MacGuyver and Baldy and Co., he's a Colonel or summat in some security agaency-thingy. Gets spaced in space on the really rather groovy Prometheus (a United States Air Force warp-capable battleship based on Asgard technology)

Oh yeah! I forgot that JdL was in SG! I remember seeing an episode with a prototype ship in it, and it ended up drifting somewhere in Sol because it malfunctioned. I wish they'd put the new seasons of SG on .

got em off the T'o'kra (rebel Gou'a'uld i.e. good guys sorta) but the hull and weapons and shields are Asgard - a parting gift from the Asgard cos they're in real trouble elsewhere)

Ah yes, those "replicator" things. I think that's where the season cliff-hanger ended; I think that there were some on earth (again).
