Peripherals?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Logitech Z680 speakers and that's it. I don't like peripherals getting in the way of my filth, so I just stick to the essentials. I have been toying with getting a laser printer (pharkin hate inkjets!), but im still printing me crap off at work if need be.

Hammer, speaker, kettle, tea.

I don't know what the others do, i fiddle with them a bit, and sometimes I get a beautiful flash of bright blue gorgeous lightning, and sometimes it gives me a little "jolt" to waken me back up after a long hard day

Eh_Steve how good is that joystick? Wil it last through lost and lots of playing?

It lasts because I don't really play many joystick games. The only ones I really have are Wings of Desstiny and MS Combat Sim 2.

HP Colorado 5gb Travan tape drive
Iomega 250mb external Zip drive
Epson C82 printer
Epson 1670 Perfection scanner (hate it, don't use it)
Yamaha speakers (ripped from a home cinema kit)
MS Sidewinder II f/f joystick

and other bits of cr*p not worth mentioning. Its all getting to a bit of a mess really, i need to tidy up.

Intel webcam
removable thingy for downloading my photo camera pictures to my computer

Post Mon Apr 12, 2004 6:38 am

not a "thingy?" I've got a "thingy" too, it breaks, hence the common phrase "my thingy's broken..."

Ancient Paperport Strobe Scanner (parallel port)
Ancient NEC Superscript 860 Printer (mono-laser)
Logitech MX 700 wireless optical mouse w/recharger caddy.
Altec Lansing 5.1 speaker system.
Iomega 250Mb Internal Drive

I am thinking of going wireless with my keyboard too. The lack of mouse wire clutter, alone, was really refreshing. I had no idea of the difference that it makes.

Let's see, besides the required mouse and keyboard fare, I've got Creative Labs Inspire 5300 series 5.1 surround sound(not the best, but they do for movies). I've also got a Gravis Gamepad Pro(non-usb) for games like Crazy Taxi and the Sonic games(got the Sega PC Mega Pack). Oh, yeah forgot my external DSL modem. Nothing impressive, of course.

good thing about external stuff - you can switch it off, reset it etc. back in my modem days, I'd only use external modems for that very reason.

but internal stuff is SOOOO much tidier. I have a cable modem + router +switch all piled up on each other, and all me external drives etc, and frankly its looking a bl**dy mess and 'er indoors is really bending me shell-like about it. I'm gonna have to get a rack unit or summat, i'm even annoying meself now.
