This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Where I am, wild turkeys have been attacking citizens. One crashed through a home window and ran amok. One perched itself on a car and wouldn't let anyone remove it from it's spot, the fire department had to come. Another was shot by a hunter, but it revived in the vehicle and caused the car to crash. Several kids have been knocked over by them.

I think they're encroaching from the hills, because we never had this problem before.

Those green paraqueets that have escaped and successfully bred in the London area. It's pretty surreal when its been snowing and you see one of those bright green buggers flying around.

My Favorite Bird??
For reasons stated by Corsair is the Chicken, But if I should choose one that has to Live, I would say a Falcon.

Sir Spectre,
The Fire Dept? To move a turkey? I've never met a turkey even a child couldn't beat in a fair fight.

@Loc.... do you eat chicken raw as well?
To Answer That: Yes.
Gut and all, But fried is just as Nice, I haven't been stricken by Salmonella yet, and nor do I plan to be, But to be frank its been a few Months since I have had my last Raw Chicken. Why you ask Is it because your image of me Enjoying Slaughter & Mayhemm??
Well There is only one person that knows The REAL Nature of me, he is on these boards and is absent for the time being (The person I am talking about knows what I mean) Other then that, I tell allmost no-one, because I don't want any "unfortunate" details to leak and come back to hit me in the face.. ( for reference see Uncle Taw's previous sig (If you manage to find the one I mean))

@Richard, I should rephrase, there were some fire fighters eating at a nearby restaurant. When the turkey started pecking at people and presented itself a nuisance to the woman who owned the car, they had to come and hold it down until animal control came to get it.

Last year we had a lot of problems with lady bugs, this year it's turkeys. Maybe there aren't any more problems than usual, maybe its just a fad of reporting. When one person reports something, then they all do.

@Loc,

LOL. No no no no. Do you remember the food threads a while back? I remembered the description you gave of what was in your fridge.... er rather more like a butcher's cooler but anyway.... that's what came to mind.

From the conversations people have around here, I'd say that the only birds people like are "Wild Turkeys" and "Fluffy Ducks" .

you can't eat RAW chicken, you nutter, you'll die of stuff; what about the gall-bladder?

do NOT try this at home, children; always cook meat esp. poultry well, and do not reheat.

EDIT - I'm really getting concerned about SirSpectre and his problems with flora and fauna. Do you remember the giant tree or bush that took over his garden and nearly caused a range war with him and his neighbours? Now he has flocks of feral turkeys a la South Park roaming around the hillsides. Hell's bell's, man, where do you live? in the wilderness? And just exactly how do turkeys go wild, and how did they get there in the first place? Turkeys aren't renowned for their natural aggression, afaik - are they?
