There is a very interesting (an lengthy)
report about spam now available. For some reason, the guy's bandwidth is being restored soon, but the link I have provided is directed to Google's cache, so you can still read it (without the pictures unfortunately). The report brings up some very salient points, and some of the results and conclusions are quite surprising. One of the questions that it raises though, is a pertinent one; Why are we adapting to spam instead of banning it? To me personally, it seems that we are dealing with the symptoms of the problem and not the cause. The worst part is that peple are capitalising upon spam by creating new filters or "anti-SPAM" technologies. Making money off this enormous problem seems wrong, in my opinion.
I'm sorry about creating "another" thread about spam, but this one is different. Let's all show how mature we can be, and not get this thread locked. Alright? Good
.
Note: This is my 2000th post! I would like to thank TLR, and the little people I've stepped on while on my way up the ladder fof success!
