Chantdeguerre means War Song in french. In warcraft2 and 3 there was an orc tribe called the war song tribe, and I always liked the name.

Just to make it clear, my name does NOT come from the martial arts "Kendo" (I didn't even know it existed when I created my username).

Also, the THM in my name is a secret, some people know it, its extremly stupid, thats why I don't tell it as its embarrasing (or however thats called).

I think it just popped into my head and/or I read it somewhere.

I have been using the callsign of "Lightning" since playing the Original WingCommander on my 286. I have used lightning as a callsign for every space sim character I have played since. Did the same for freelancer as well, however when I went to play on one server and went to make my character name, someone had taken the name lightning, so hence I added a color infront of it, and became Black_Lightning. And while at the time I did not consider this to be a permanent addition to the callsign lightning, due to how many people started calling me BL I've come to take this as my permanent name I use for all forums I go to. For all 1st person shooter games I use the name Arc, as in a lightning arc

originally, 'Arania' Was the term describing the state of earth in 5000-8000 years, when winter lasted for five years because of a highly elliptical orbit.
Since, the design of that 'earth' has since become the stucture of Arania itself.
Arania, formed 6000 years ago by a group of rebel atlanteans seeking freedom from the tyrranny of thier atlantean masters, destroyed the entire island of atalantis(explains why it isnt there now) and fled in three starships, the Arania, the Executor, and the Annihilator.
The Three ships set up camp in orbit of earths moon and built Arania (yes, the entire planet is artificial) to watch over Earth.
The Aranic people have followed a tradition where they pick a child from earth to be thier emperor, the child is then taken to arania and educated about the technology and made to take an oath that they will not use the power to interfere with the path of action earth takes. the child is then given full control of the empire and traveles back and forth between earth and the empire as to not arous suspicion. The emperor can only be suceeded upon his death.
The only recen change to the way arania is govered happened when the earthinian war broke out, at that point, Arania instated a council to watch over the Emperor and control and recless action he/she might take, the council also had the power to dismiss the Emperor, but has no DIRECT say in how arania is run.
My sucessor was killed in an earthinian strike 4 years ago and i was placed into the position of power.
It has been noted by aranic technicians that the rate of advancement for aranic technology is exponential, and thus, i am witnessing the most fierce technological advancement in arania's history.
