You know you have been to TLR long when...

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Steve - Let me guess, that guy must have been a Yank; otherwise he would never have used a stupid word like "cuss" . What's the hell is wrong with the word "curse" anyway?!?! Kwazy Yanks!

Post Sun Apr 04, 2004 6:12 pm

I almost did that, but I caught myself, In front of my boss too

I had a super Ego, but it was pestering me so I killed it.

When I shot it the bullet grazed my soul, and that bled to death too

Cuss has a nastier edge than curse. Curses may be proper words but used with animus against someone. A cuss, on the other hand, is nothing but four letter words

We yanks have our ways too, you know.

Oh. And you know you've been on TLR too long when you regularly take the time make posts like this one.

I read thru, for the first time, the thread Orillion linked in his topic post. It was fun to see Warlord Bob's last few posts and I got a kick out of this Taw quote.

..when you spend at least 15 minutes trying to turn Wolfy's posts into English, give up, and e-mail Sir Spectre to translate it.

He did, once.

@Steve

15. You can tell who's posted by the signature.
16. You've practically memorized the 50 observations.
17. You apply those to real life.
18. Greatest writer of all time: Sir Specterspeare.

In 50 Observations I did say that siggies are probably too often overused and you're certainly applying that effectively. And thank you for the compliment.

@arania - sorry, only one person here will understand that.

I almost said "LOL" the other day mid-conversation, thats got to have been one of the most bizarre experiences of my life....I had to stop myself mid-flow and ended up stood staring into space trying to work out why the hell I was about to say "laughs out loud". Meanwhile, the actually quite interesting person I was talking to, walked off muttering "weirdo"...!

Lord help me

Isn't it?

I guess it would be: When you reply with just one word or spam and manage to get away with it without being yelled at by Mods and other vets
