Which would you choose?
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I'd take the money then spend it bribing all the NASA staff to tell everyone that I did go to the moon. I'd then ask Tom Clancy to write a thriller based on my 'experience' and earn millions of £s. I would use the proceeds to then hire an assasin to kill everyone who had inside knowledge of my hoax (inluding Clancy) and revel in the richness of my life
I'm not morally challenged, just evil.

Money Money Money! Who knows what I can do with it? Maybe buy a lot of aluminium and titanium to create Basic Alloys (FL) and then Ship Hull Panels (FL) and then a Patriot (!) and go off to space and get famous for 2 reasons:
Been to space and created (I think) the first 1-man ship that is compact (due to the size of the Patriot)
and earn more money!

In answer to my own question, I think I'd have to take the moon. Setting aside the possibility of getting endorsements, I would rather have a permanent memory and experience, than temporary money.
Again, the question is meant to reveal your values and goals. Obviously there is no right answer, but I thought it was an interesting question.

amen.
I hate it when people say..."ooh a million pounds, thats not a lot of money in this day and age...you could flitter it away in weeks"...and my answer is quite simply "only if you're a ****ing idiot". A million quid could set you up for life if you avoid the temptation to buy 3 aston martins and a nice little house.
there's a lot to be said for the "once in a lifetime experience"....but goddamn! a million pounds invested well can give you a lifetime of "once in a lifetime experiences".....and in this day and age, if you invested it well enough for long enough you could probably buy yourself onto a space shuttle and still have enough left over to fulfill the rest of your dreams.

Gromit, good point. I think the mentality that $1,000,000 is not very much money comes from the constant feeling that we need to own more and more stuff. We're never happy until we have it all, and even then it's not enough.
I make about $50,000 a year. If I had a million dollars, that's like making the same salary (secured) for the next 20 years. Not bad if I do say so myself. I don't need a bigger house or a faster car (just a faster computer). And if you do invest wisely, it can go a long way.
Still, it's a tough decision for me. I would love to see the stars without the atmosphere in the way. I would love to feel what zero-g is like. I would love to walk on another planet (I know the moon isn't technically a "planet", but you know what I mean), I would love to see the Earth from the moon, I would love to see the Earth-rise, I'd love to be able to say that I saw Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, North America, South America and the Antarctic all in one day, I'd love to feel the g-forces of lift off and re-entry, I'd love to feel the exhiliration of space flight, I'd love to drink Tang as it floats around in little globs...
Such a tough question for me. I'm still leaning towards the moon...call me sentimental....or just mental. Whichever works.

I would see the Moon as the only choise. This is one of the things i beleive is an lifetime experience. With "only" a million dollars (is it pounds?) i could not buy myself to the Moon. I don't mean that a million is a little money, it's a huge amount of money, but it's not what it need's to get you to the Moon.
