I'd have to say Metal Gear Solid as well, I prefer It to it's sequal because it's just ..... better. Less cutscenes, more gameplay, the second one felt like a interactive movie, really, because every 2nd room you entered had a cutscene to go with it.

Oh, and if Kojima is looking, the bomb defusal is a pitifal ploy to make us explore. Give us some real gameplay.

Halo because its a kick-all game with kick-ass graphics, kick-ass guns and a kick-ass storyline

Crash bandicoot because the game is ABSOMUTELY MASSIVE!!!

Medieval because it has ALOT of waepons

And gex for sheer humour

I don't own a console, but every time I visit my mate who has, I end up playing the Tekken series into the ground - along with snowboarding and any of the Tony Hawk's series.

I love that sort of stuff on consoles - its what they excel in - imho anything more complicated should be left to the PC. Consoles are fast and graphically fantastic, their playibility lends itself to these sorts of games.

I have played Zelda:OT on my PC; it's a good game, lots of fun.

To go OT slightly, have you X-BOX users heard about Fable? It seems really intertesting, but I hope that it has a good plot. I also hope that they port it to PC (very likely), as otherwise I won't get to try it .

best console game I ever played? Wing Commander on SNES...

Console? What's a console? Ohhhhhhh, the Nintendo 64 and Playstation 2 gathering dust in the corner o'er there? Only game I ever play is my Major League Baseball 2000 for the 64. Beat all my PS2 games the day I got them. No more fun.

Is that even a question? The best game ever is Halo. Metal Gear Solid is ok, but Halo would have to take the prize as numero uno. Except for maybe Halo 2 which is hopefully coming out some time in the summer.
