Eeek, forgot how dated the PS2 is looking these days. Only got a 7.0 GameSpy score, something has to at least get an regular 8/10 in most reviews before i'll even consider buying it these days. Beside I ain't got a PS2 either, which could make things even more difficult.

I saw this reviewed elsewhere and wasn't very impressed; not exactly ground-breaking, is it? Still if you like it, I suppose you can fork out a fiver for it when it hits the bargain bucket cos it aint gonna shift many copies from release. Nice movies though

i like the battle system. at least its something new other than squares tried and quite frankly trying final fantasy battle system.

honest to god i wish they'd shoot the final fantasy series and put it or me out of its misery

No worries m8, I Am getting this game and nothing will stop me (game got an 8 from readers). I like Dynasty Worriors, and Panzer Dragoon...so this will be perfect, and its hack n' slash game...which is always fun . Anyway I dont trust GameSpot and their score (I use them to look at screns and see whats new). I mean they gave legend of Dragoon a 6.4, but the game is frikin sweet. So word of mouth, dont look at GameSpot scores, do little research on game and then make your own conclusion .

@Carnevale: You're not the only twit that bought Daikatana. I consider myself guilty as charged. The only good thing about Daikatana is that you can use the disc as a coaster for drinks.

Square usually does good on games. FFVII and VIII I'm with Carn, PC games only.

Amen, I haven't played a console in six months.

I have played an XBox once or twice, but I dislike those little pads. I have big hands, and I prefer my mouse and keyboard. I'll never buy a console; I like the freedom of choice that PCs offer me, and I like to tweak and update my box. Who doesn't?

Anyway, here is what I think of the game from hand on experience (yup I got it )

THE GAME IS F-ING SWEET!! Lol its better than I expected, much better. So much action, so much blood, so much killing........I got no explanation. Much beter than Final Fantasy...and quiet refreshing as well, very fun battle...and roasting with dragon.....PRICELES!! I just dont know waht to say.....

I know you were kidding! Hey! Where the hell did my emoticons in that post go? Strange. Well, if this game ports to PC (unlikely), then I'll look at it in more detail. Otherwise, it might depress me .

I love playing on games on my PC, but I still play games on PS2, XBOX, and Gamecube because they all offer different stuff to play. I mean, you can't play Metroid Prime on the PC. Not a chance. You also can't play Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance on the PC either. Consoles have their advantages, but my main gaming platform WILL be my PC, as it is upgradeable. I wouldn't mind getting a PS2, though. Drakengard, for one. It looks sweet.
