@Wolfy, it's just a funny Red Dwarf replacement word for other bad words. Too silly to be taken seriously really.

@Wolfy, the only thing I could come up with, Smeg, was a UK Appliance thing on search? Other wise??????

No worms , bugs, ect in any of my e-mails.

I thought it was just me to get these reports. Since i had the latest edition of Norton, and never had a virus before... i wasnt expecting two emails from the ISP about me sending emails!

i dont tihnk ive got the Netsky P.. but ive have got Netsky something else (d i think)

Is this a hoax? or do i ACTUALLY have the virus? i dont think i would because. norton would have picked it up months ago (since its D or earlier)

Carney -

I'd wait until Comrade Esquilaxov wakes up, he lurvs dealing with e-mail worms.
No I don't! I just like helping people. It's the kind of guy I am! By the way Carney, is it true that you have small hands?

KS - Netsky.D, eh? Well standard procedure is to follow a linky from Esky. That should sort it out.

SS - It sounds like the person who is sending you viruses is a Theatre Critic! I'd watch out if I were you .

I just got 3, yes 3, return to sender things when I've only sent 2 emails in the past week. I didn't even send any to the people i got these from. Then when I checked out what the email was it said it contained a virus. I think one of the people whose 'email' supposedly 'did not' go through was gromit.

Has anyone run the program SamSpade? It can paruse (sp) e-mail headers to see where it really came from. I has helped me find some of the forgesd headers and who sent them. Then you can forward them to the postmaster at their IP as spamming. Does work sometimes

No I haven't. I prefer examining the headers myself. Lots of fun!

Well, it is said the highest number of murders committed by writers are against critics. I can see why, they really tick me off.

Why am i getting the feeling that the only way to stop these buggers is to hack the hackers?

i still havenet gotton any RTS messages, but i do have a repetitive pop-up as startup saying that i have VBS_Tradelink, i checked stsrtup lists and the registry, nothing, any ideas? esqie?

I've gotten about 8 of them so far in my yahoo account... course the account I put up as my email here is my 4th opened yahoo account so I really don't care lol. Really funny when I open it up and I have 8 messages all with the exact same sized attachment. And they all have messages ranging from 6-8 words lol. The really funny ones were when they masked their sending email with a name like "yahoo support.com" kinda thing, and the message said "we have detected a large number of virus emails in your account so we are susspending it, please read the attachment" and has the same 30 byte attachment they want you to open, lmao, how dumb do they think people are?

Course, that said, even though I knew these all held virus' I wanted to dl one to passivley look in it without opening it but yahoo is a better email provider then I thought, when it scans that an attachment has a virus it completly blocks you from it, so you can't do anything with the attachment but delete it.
