Are we implying something here? Ot can have so many topics while the FL is only game related topics. Both seem to die down at times an then pick up again, depending on intrest in the game at the moment

The strange thing is how OT has always since stayed way below FL forum. The interest in the game must be fading and some people just come here to talk and give advice to newbs occasionally. That's what I do anyway.

i have noticed in the last 2 months how rapidly the OT forum has been catching up to the FL discussion

I've actually been keeping an eye on that myself, and I was going to put up a post when the OT forum exceeded the FL Discussion forum's number of posts. Thanks for spoiling it for me .

The reason that the OT forum has more posts, is probably because you can discuss almost anything here, while there are only a finite amount of topics that can be discussed in the FL Discussion forum.

It is simply because in Freelancer forum they discuss the game - which is a linear discussion. Here though, poeple post about what they had for breakfast, what happened in their local shop, and other such "topics" which basically means that all the under 10 word posts of spam are here. Simply put, spam. But that is what this is for.........

Oh Come on... a Community's OT board is allways the biggest.

I remember the Time That I was a wee lad on this forum. The OT board had more then a 100,000 posts if I counted correct, this was before the Dark Days.... The days of the great purge, and possibly the reason why this board is rather... empty of a sort.

The Days before the Purge this board was literally boiling over with activity, but not a single flooder, an occasional Legion of Spammers but nothing more, I regret seeing so much sensible discussions going down the drain.
