How Incompetent Were You The First Time You Took A Look Insi

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I have always been aware that I know nothing about hardware, so I've been pretty careful and left the work to sb who knows how to do it.

An idea came to my head and is now desperately searching for brain

my FIRST look inside a PC was when i
took apart my old celeron 1/8^-34Mhz
i took the processor out while the service
technician was still looking for it!

then my next BIG encounter was when i
got a new P4 PC by HP, took it apart,
re-loaded windows (i had to bloody buy a disk
cause they didn't give me one!),
put some new stuff in and re built it.
now-adays i can see right into my case with
my Completely transparent case (cost a fortune)
and take it apart every two weeks to dust it!

i want to build PC's for a living, i already do
(minorly, for friends) but i want to start my
own buisness.

My first time Inside , beyond the above mentioned disk was about 6 years ago, I needed to add a modem. *Did not have one*. Got it from the person who built the computer, and with a little trepidation, got it installed with no side effects. Been learning ever since.

When I was 9 My friend and I opened the case of my dad's old computer and played around, we took alot apart and put it back together wrong, so the hard drive cleared, but later we got it working again so my that was my first exepirince, and a good one too.

I had a super Ego, but it was pestering me so I killed it.

When I shot it the bullet grazed my soul, and that bled to death too

*Shakes head* You case modders. Go for some UV-Reactive Parallel cables, fans with LEDs, and throw in a ducting mod, and an anodised paint job for good measure!

First PC I looked in was my first PC when I was 4. My dad had to put in 4MB of extra RAM so my new game would work! It had no end of problems! lol those were the days!

I've recently built a PC myself, with a P4 2.4GHz processor, 512 MB-RAM, 128 MB Graphics Card, a nice shiny 52x32x52 CD-RW, and a 20GB HDD, all of which set me back a measly £250! I got the processor from an auction on Amazon for £31.49 (inc P&P), the RAM was £38, the graphics card was the most expensive item at £64.63, the CD-RW was £29.49 from Amazon brand new, and the HDD was a prezzie for crimbo 3 years ago, which cost about £63 i think. So all in all not too bad...

For my brother's Christmas present last year from me and my dad, we built him a PC from bits we'd got lying around the house! It came out as a 800MHz processor, 192 MB-RAM, a 16 MB Graphics Card, and a 10GB HDD! The only thing we had to buy was the Graphics Card, which was a bargain at £15!

I've recently been dabbling in networking, as Taw and Esquilax will tell you, and I've got my old PC and my new PC in my room, mainly for MP Gaming and Program Sharing!
