Adult Swim
There are two themes to Adult Swim. One Anime (which Taw probably watches or would like watching) or two hysterical comedic toons that are really hard to describe because of their random humour. But many of the toons are actually old cartoons from the 60's to 70's remade with crude and unexpected humour.
I really like the latter theme of funny cartoons a lot! Sealab 2021 is my favourite. You'd think that because they're stuck on a 1970's TV show that is entirely set on an underwater lab they'd be limited with what they could do ... happily that is not the case!
Everybody knows Futurama and Family Guy well those were added to the list of Adult Swim cartoons about a year ago.
A lot of people's favourite is Aqua Teen Hunger Force, which I like a lot but not as much as some do. I heard there were some original episodes or at least scripts for this show where the "Force" actually did heroic things. Because as the show is now all they do is smash TVs, eat, anger each other and mutilate ... things.
Space Ghost Coast to Coast was the first one I saw, before there was an Adult Swim. When it led the lineup for a while it brought me to enjoy The Brak Show who is a ex-foe of the ripped from the 60's superhero Space Ghost. This is a great show with some of the funniest and most original situations of all the shows.
Those are pretty much the only shows I like in the lineup. Like I said, there is plenty of anime as well as a few dumb shows I don't like at all. However if you're curious about these shows, the main list is at Adult Swim. Also Family Guy, Futurama, Space Ghost & Aqua Teen Hunger Force are already out on DVD with at least their first seasons. Sealab 2021 will be out this June along with season 2 of Aqua Teen.
If you ever get a chance you should check some of these out. They are a particular type of humour and not quite everyone's cup of tea or ovaltine for that matter.
