Preference: Image or Text?

In my latest attempt to get a first locked topic, I have come to the TLR community to ask a very irrelevent and a not-so-irrelevant question.

First, the irrelevant question:
1. When you click on a topic to read it, do you click on the image folder or the subject text ?

I myself usually click the subject text, but I was wondering if the folder appeals to people more than the text.

And the not-so-irrelevant question:
2. Do you prefer Images or text when reading stuff, writing stuff, doing stuff or whatever. Just which one do you like better and why?

i click on the text when i'm coming into a thread

also, obviously when i'm reading, i prefer text...why would you want to try and squint text out of a jpeg file??? or is that not what you meant? your 2nd point is a little confusing, i think

Well, if Shift wants a locked thread, why don't we give him one? This is going to be spam-filled very soon, and he probably wants it locked to get some attention. Mods? I think we need a *click* here. The benefit is that it will make Shift happy.

It's a shame people actually ask for a lock. Why is that ? Do you want some attention you don't get from your mommie and daddy ? Maybe the fact that not having a girlfriend/boyfriend or any friends for that matter have anything to do with it ? Maybe it's just to prove something or make a statement. Nevertheless, whatever the reason, there is no excuse for this childish behavior. Personally I hate to be forced into a situation like this, because people will go see you as some sort of Nazi if you lock too many posts, but if certain people keep forcing us to do so, than that's inevitable I guess. *Sigh* what a waste of webspace...
