Flatspace (Indie space game)

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I got a chance to try this game out for an hour or so last night, and it's really cool. You can choose different careers, like trader, bounty hunter, pirate, policeman. You can use the standard rules and galaxy map, or you can randomize the map, change the number of stations and asteroids, and so on. It reminds me a good mix between the graphical prettiness and mouse control of Freelancer, with the depth and longevity of Escape Velocity Nova. Definately worth checking out if you're into this sort of thing

It's too bad that it isn't freeware. It looks interesting.

I know it has a demo, but I would prefer the full version to get the "real" experience. I could probably find a crack or serial for it, but I can't be bothered. Instead, I'll ask you... is it any good? What are the graphics like?

I wonder why it is only 16mb...

I want to rip the music out of it!
