astronomy all the way!! not that i've been able to officially go into it, nor do i have the time to go deep into it i've only had 5475 days of existence to go into it and there's so much more of life i need to consider..
i would say astronomy is not part of physics, but physics part of astronomy.. think about it! its the oldest science. what better science when the lab is all around you ? (above you, more like)

other than astronomical parts, i hate all of physics. unfortunately i'll have to turn out to be a maths wiz to go into astronomy.. oh well if i can't i want to go into multi-lingual science.. i got 5 chalked up so..

Chemistry everytime. I did physics and maths, although strangly enough I was alot better at Biology.....but chemistry and myself just clicked.

We got detentions for trying to make nitroglycerin, made ammonium nitrate, stole lots of chemicals, made tons of bombs from weedkiller, made some contact explosives from i**** and a****** which we covered all the desks with (so anyone moving around set off mini explosions on the surface, its an incredibly unstable explosive....and detonates spontanteoulsy when dry, or with a small amount of friction). We also managed to set fire to a whole bench. Ah - the fun, luckily our chemistry teacher knew that we were relatively safe pyrotechnics....., so we usually got rumbled by other students and a slap on the hand.....

We only got in trouble over the nitro cause we stole bottles of conc nitric and sulphuric acid (erm, like 16-32M stuff ) for our production lines

Biology and chemistry at school
Biological and medicinal chem. at uni!!!!!!
Best part......arriving at uni for a second day of labs to discover our class had burnt the place down overnight!! 27hr week to 2hr week, oh them were the days.
In our defence it was a dodgy fume cupboard that sparked the alcohol bath that set off the oxygen tank that leveled the wall and thus the room disappeared in a cloud of chemically induced smoke
On the positive side, more time for beer!!!!!!!
Currently, human genome stuff

chemistry and physics wasnt keen on biology ,all that effort cutting things up when you werent going to eat them

lol - chemistry at uni.......where they carried some work on a lab towards end of term.......and found asbestos in there!! needless to say that classes were crammed into other labs as that one was out of action for quite a while (strangley enough another lab had been burnt out as well - you didn't go to leeds did you?)

Nope, uni of essex was my claim to fame!!!!!!
However, few of the lads were at leeds.........hmmmm the conspiracy continues

I haven't taken specialized courses yet, It's still just "Science". Next year I'm doing Computer, Bio, Chem and Physics.

Maths n Physics type stuff is what I'm good at, but when it comes to stuff like electromagnetic fields and charged particle paths, I quickly get bored and confused. But the mechanical side of things I'm really good at, I can picture most of it in my head and then figure it out from there. It pisses off the other guys at school sometimes when I'm always way ahead on mechanics questions.
Chemistry I used to like a lot before I took it to A-level, I had similar experiences making home-made bombs with friends for fun and that made chemistry fun at the time. At A-level it's become a lot of theory and s,p,d and f sub-shells, electronegativity, electrode-potentials etc.
Biology was OK... I was good at it but it never held any interest. The natural world however and animal behaviour is far more interesting to me.

PHYSICS and computers, then chemistry

down with biology

What once was FL2, and now is ... *hmm what is it?*

Post Thu Mar 04, 2004 1:24 pm

Computer, astronomy and chemistry. Physics is boring and I just don't like biology

History and English. Now hate Chemistry due to a rubbish teacher. Did always have a thing for physics though...

He was referring to Science ; not the Humanities!

My personal favorite is Physics, because I am very good at it. My second favorite is chemistry, not because I was good at it, I was terrible at it, but because My chemistry teacher in high-school (I am still in high school) would blow things up at least twice a week. In his AP chem class, he did a thermite explosion that was heard all over the school, and blew a hole through formica (sp?) on 1 inch particle board. That scared the whole school, although most of us expected to eventually hear something like that from his room.

Physics, Chem and Planetary Sciences (geology, etc...)

i'm going for a Physics degree in University right now, but it really blows, because they just moved geology to a different faculty this year, and i wanted to choose that as my minor, but apparently you can't choose minors from the Faculty of Environment if you're in the Faculty of Science.

its so retarded because last year i would have been able to, but now i can't...so i really don't know what i'll pick as my minor

Kyp

The other day, in study hall, i farted really loud, you know...so the guys would laugh...and i swear it was so hanus that Susie Johnson almost ralphed up her salsbury steak.
it was freakin sweet...
