Jury Duty - Finally Over

Same goes here. There are legal aid groups throughout the country. They are there to support those without the means to have legal representation before any legal hearing board, housing authorities, welfare agencies, social security, immigration, etc., etc., etc.
I guess, though, that everyone here pretty much understands that there are two different worlds of lawyering. There's the TV version which only reflects one side of the story and then there is the real world where the fact that you might get sued and have to pay too much money (whatever too much may be to each one) to a lawyer to defend yourself pretty much scares the pants off of everybody. If you are gainfully employed and own a house or car, you would be a complete idiot not to carry liability insurance because that's about the only way you'll be able to get the attorney's fees paid if you get sued (your insurance will pay for it if you are covered for the kind of lawsuit involved).
