Try Bit Defender. It's supposed to be quite good. A link? You want a link? Get your own link you lazy bum!

AVG and ONLY AVG

Norton just doesn't cut it with me.

I put AVG onto my dad's machine after a few odd things started happening...it found a blaster worm and "deleted it"...however next time I turned the machine on, lo and behold it was back. I still haven't managed to get rid of the bugger for him. AVG is a very good virus scanner, but I'm not entirely convinced of its innoculation skills.

Norton is fine, but McAfee is also good. I'm using that now, and the only problem is that the updates are large (comparatively speaking), and it slows down my WinXP shutdown routine by about 15 seconds. It doesn't sound like much, but trust me, you notice it.
