GTA: San Andreas Announced

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Every GTA (including the next one) is PS2 exclusive. But Rockstar announced officially that it is coming to PC immediately after that and on Xbox after that........ So yeah it will be on all 2 major consoles. That third one doesnt exist anymore so they wont be releasing it for that . Yeah i know that GTA1 is available on R*'s website, i used to know a website where you can even get GTA2 for free aswell. GTA2 is actually pretty fun, i love the whole dynamic gang relations stuff, you know like while you play, you can go kill on gang and have another like you more so they help you and give you missions and vice versa. It was a very cool feature but I doubt with the focus being on a good story that any of the new ones will have it

The problem with GTA is that the gameplay and story are rather repetitive. You know how it is; start off as petty criminal, start getting money from drugs and from killing people, end up with vast crime syndicate and/or rule town. It's the same old stuff no matter how many new cars and guns you add.

Not with GTA3. You start with nothing, you end up with nothing. In GTA, You start with nothing, in the end, you have nothing. GTA2, same story. GTA: VC is where yo ustart rulnig stuff.

Bah! They all seem the same to me! That being true (I said you start as a petty criminal, which does not imply riches), the style of the gameplay and the missions are all the same.

The missions I think are probably the most varied of any game I have played so far. Maybe not the first 3-4 but certainly has enough variety, more than enough actually

And then you wake up and play every other PC game and realise how godlike they are unlike other certain vehicular games.

Alright, alright. The GTA games seem the same to me, but if you guys say that they're all different, then I believe you.

Heltak - You've been making less and less sense lately. That's not a good sign...

Oh no he losing hs mind, or finding mine,

anyhow You can technicaly play GTA3 In GTA2 mode, swich the camra view to above and it the normal view, however it is 3D and awsome.

I'm really happy about the fact that's it coming out for computer right after The PS2

If life gives you lemons use them to squirk lemon juice in people's eyes and cheat.

The first one I played was GTA2, it was funny, satisfying and all around a good game. Then along comes GTA3, it's in full 3D and it's even better. But when VC came along I couldn't get into it in the same way, it wasn't doing anything really new like the shift to 3D...so I hope the new one is amazing

I first got into GTA on a game boy color, It was great and Most of my friends thought it was ok, I beat it in 2 days and played it for another week, then forgot about it, then al of a sudden I'm walking in the store and see the box for GTA2 and of couse I buy it and do almost the same thing, this time however I make a mental note of the series. then a long time latter out of no where I realized that this new, popular PS2 game that's out is the Sequal to the game that was the first game A pulled an all nighter to beat. and So I buy it and love it, and I have loved Rock* ever since, buying almost all of thier games that come out for PC.

I had a super Ego, but it was pestering me so I killed it.

Is GTA VC any better than GTA 3, I didn't really enjoy 3 all that much. Sure it was okay and moderately entertaining but it got pretty boring pretty quick. The mission structures were lame, "shoot this guy and steal this car, you've got a 2 minute deadline" and why should I care? That's the whole reason I've been avoiding Vice City cause I thought it would be more of the same.

Its not the same, not even close. You got HELICOPTERS in VC for god sake, what else ya want!! There aren’t too many games where you can get into an army chopper (Hunter), fly around city blowing everything up!! Its just pure fun. I got VC first day it came out and I still can not stop playing it, its just too darn fun!! Also now you can own some buildings and business, which gives you annual income. Also you now got your own gang, they patrol blocks you control.

I got GTA3 and GTA2, and both are awesome, but VC is no comparison with other 2...not even close!

As for new GTA I think they should make buildings and stuff destructible...lol just think about it...leveling an skyscraper with Hunter!!!

Alright, I'm not a fan of the GTA series, played GTA3 on a few occasions, but I found that the full version of GTA1 is avaliable as a free download. You all probably already knew this though. Just tellin those who don't.
