Hockey, anyone?
Sitnger, you'll like this. Probably because you're from the same city (Columbus, Ohio, USA) and the Blue Jackets' macot is Stinger. (Coincidence, I think not)
Does anyone else know of any cool sports moments where the underdog comes back from behind to win in overtime? There was just one in Columbus tonight. There'll be some flipped cars in this town in the morning. This is what happened. The very poorly rated Columbus Blue Jackets Hockey team was set to play one of the top-ranked teams - the Colorado Avalanche. The Jackets are... let's say... not perfect. By mid second period, Columbus is down 2-0 when suddenly we slip in two goals one right after another. There are some fights during this time, and a lot of penalties. Then in the third, Colorado slips one in. Jacket come back and tie it, bring it into OT. Columbus wins in OT. That's like, not usual for them to beat a real good team. I'm getting this ranking info from my dad, so it isn't really accurate, but it's good enough that Columbus actually won a tight game.
Nice barely possible, come from behind, against all odds story. Anyone else love these things?
