Connex South East ran the trains in my area, even though their service was getting worse they could still raise their prices and collect their govt. subsidy. Eventually i think they've had their contract broken off now since they were so awful. The worst thing that they wanted to do was to remove even more seats so there'd be more room to pack in commuters and they wouldn't have to run so many trains, yet they were going to continue to raise fare prices!

Indy - They completed a large railway just recently (I think is was the Ghan), and everyone is really excited about it. Well, except for me .

Bah, the Ghan is crap. We're excited about something that should have been completed back in the 19th century and why in the hell didn't they run a water line at the same time and pumped all that monsoon water down from Darwin into SA and Vic.

Indy - Nah, the Ghan is bloody expensive I've heard. I prefer to spend my money on the essentials. You know ginger beer, HL2, etc .
