thanks . It seemed to have resolved of its own accord. Not sure yet. But now I know where to go for plugins.

I have now joined the growing population throwing away IE and Nutscrape (hehe nutscrape) and have downloaded FireFox. from the little i have used it, I'm liking FireFox. very much so.

Any tips on plugins, or that stuff?

Actually, Mozilla 1.7 is supposed to be quite good. When it leaves the Beta stage, I'll try it at work.
