I say Lute as I prefer and love medieval music, it's a shame I don't know where to find any these days. The harp is also good, and woodwind.

GoGo French Horn! Yaaaaaah!

I might be a *teensy* bit biased due to me playing it an all , but I'm sure it's still wonderful. Mainly I like the sound you get from it. It's just a beautiful, mellow sound. Plus the richness you get with more than a couple of them playing together... and oh! it's just wonderful.

Fun to play, too! I think I can play 4 octaves on it. That's more than most things, barring a piano.

Plus horn players are more rare. Rarity = goodness. (half-joking )

Okay, for broadness sake, drums.

To be more specific, I love those huge ride cymbals because, if you ride them a lot, you just tune it out and then when everyone else stops playing you think there's a ringing in your ears. Then you realize you need to stop the cymbal.

Guitar, and then drums. I love the guitar because once you turn the amp on, and set everything to loud as hell, then gaze out across the crowd, and play to your hearts content. Its like listening to art being made. Distortion is also fun to play around with as well, although not too many people find it as beautiful to listen to as I do.

i love distortion, but not too much. Tone is more important to me.

Tone is important to me as well when I'm playing a song, but when I'm just fooling around or playing an anti solo, distortion and feedback is a blast.
