Favorite Music Instrument ?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Favorite Music Instrument ?

What is your favourite music Instrument and why ?

My favourite, the piano. Goes back a long time, and you can't beat listening to a well-tuned piano doing Bach's Number 2 suite in B Minor, or the 48 tunes and preludes. Both are good examples of the piano's abilities.

What's your favourite instrument ?

My favourite instrument is the female voice. I love a soprano with a delicate resonance and personality. From a classicly trained opera singer to the laughter heard anywhere, it is a magnificent instrument. A real pleasure to my ears and something I am quite enamoured of. The piano comes a far second. And the violin comes a distant third. And strangely the xylophone comes a close fourth behind that. Not that it can carry a tune on its own, I just like it as a part of a symphony. It's a cheerful sounding instrument.

I like the bagpipes among other things. It's one of the few instruments that is unbelievably annoying, and yet is still legitimate .

You can't beat an organ for playing - it's just such fun!

As for listening... *sucks in breath*... tricky... I'll have to go with the Cello I think, it's such a warm sound although the Bass Oboe is awesome, I play oboe and had the chance to play a bass oboe in Mars from Holst's 'The Planets', that was fun, an amazing sound it produces too.

I agree with sS on that - female voice is pleasant to hear, though it is a bit too broad a definition for me - it depends a lot on what kind of voice it is; I'd say I favour opera vocals. Then, of course electric guitars - no decent metal music without them.
