I could picture that...

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I could picture that...

What type of painting, specific if you want, Mona Lisa, ect or type, impressionistic, mosaic, Mannerism, Romanticism, Abstract, or just any type of picture being painted best describes you?

Me- a landscape with mountains and trees. easy going like the mountains, gently feeling the wind like the trees and relaxed like a gentle flowing stream.

For me I think its a landscape of a desert..

I am quiet as dessert at times, but I'm deep as sand that makes it. I can also be violent and loud like a sand storm, and changing like sand dunes

I am quiet as dessert at times

so will that be chocolate cake or cheesecake?

as for me...probably just a bunch of random blobs of paint

this is my world; it goes round and round and round

Definately a filthy alley out behind a porno theatre.

Seriously though an old oak swaying in a cool autumn breeze on top of a grassy hill.

I would definitely say my life is an impressionist painting. A big picture unto itself, but upon close examination every brush stroke having its own unique detail and seemingly separate of the one next to it. I don't quite know what picture is made yet, I'm still caught up in all the singular strokes of brushwork. I need a chance to step back and see the whole for what is on the canvas that is my life.

Can you tell I like questions like this? Kinda like when Chet asked what we offer to the world.

a combination of Giacometti/Boccione derived anarchic Futurism combined with Braquesqe Facet/Cubism. Then give a heavy swipe with some Francis Bacon inspired post-modernis horror, yep that about sums me up.

On the other side of the canvas put some wickle fwuffy stuffed animals.

lol. sometimes you scare me taw

I'm definitely a Roy Lichtenstein pop art picture....well most days...other days you might describe me as a HR Geiger sketch

Post Mon Feb 23, 2004 1:23 am

Pop art is so you, grom, I was about to put that but decided to let you do it yourself

Post Mon Feb 23, 2004 3:19 am

hehe I'm not sure how to take that, but as I like popart I'll take it as a complement...thanks I was never a fan of pop art until I caught a Warhol exhibition last time I was in Warsaw (his home town) and was amazed by it. When you see the cambells soup tin, or the marilyn monroe pictures, you don't actually realise what they're like in real life. eg. the marilyn picture is over 6 foot high! Its actually quite breathtaking close up. Saying that, I prefer Lichtenstein's "comic book" feel...its just got an element of cool to it. I like all art, but thats the closest to my personality by far

<EDIT> Its interesting that you chose Giacometti/Boccione as influences...two artists that predominantly drew striding figures....hmmm...what does this say about you? *fake accent* tell me abowt ya mutter?! </EDIT>

Perhaps sth like Dali's paintings - hard to understand sometimes (even for myself), yet attractive

@ff I see you as a Kasse painting....earthy, lots of colour, slightly odd....

Post Mon Feb 23, 2004 6:45 am

slightly odd? how so?

Post Mon Feb 23, 2004 7:04 am

what the pictures? or you?

Don't get paranoid...I say it as a complement....a person would be a boring soul if they weren't slightly quirky, don't ya think?

A friend of mine once called me "endearingly eccentric"....to this day thats the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me
