stupid movie editor!

well i wish i could use windows movie maker but that is 4 xp only. is there any good ones out there that are free? at least a demo?
i tried Colorful Movie Editor but that doesnt take the video files from fraps too well
i tried Studio Version 8 but evey time i try it is says, "A required .DLL file, OLEPRO32.DLL, was not found"
and i just installed the damn thing too!

also, are there any good (demos at least) recorders?

Have you tried Max Movie Maker. I've personally not used it but one of my friends has it and seem to like it.

Hmm...I dont know why, heres another good one, Ulead DVD movie Factory. Maybe the third try will be the charm.

I just tried to download it from KaZaA and it worked, that might be a good option.

Studio 8...Pinacle studio...same thing. pinnacle studio was actually what i downloaded. i donwloaded the dll i needed from the internet

now, any good recording progrms? like fraps but better
all the clips i have run really slow on the editors....so i need something that records better

for some reason it runs fine when i just play the clips on winamp

the clips are fine, but the editors use LOADS of system resourses
they run slowly even on my machine! there aint anything you can do

yeah but fraps doesnt record 800X600 resolution which i would like to use on some things
so i need a better program recorder

Wolfy try here to download olepro32.dll. Install it in the folder required (most likely system32) and it should fix up your error.

meaning i allready fixed it

but i dont mean to be rude..just pointing out that i fixed it...i got the downloading idea when i downloaded a jpeg viewer and it said i needed to search for ______.ZIP and download it to work
