The Irving Berlin Story. Yeah. Good call Fd. I'd forgotten about it. Irving Berlin wrote God Bless America too and is remembered, partly, for being a very patriotic American. If he thinks calling himself a Yankee Doodle Dandee is being a solid American, now I really don't see what all the fuss is.

BTW Cagne hated his performance in that movie. He actually was embarrassed by it, didn't think it showed that he could dance or sing. In his later years he told many that he regretted even trying..... which is quite amazing as it is a favorite re-run shown around the 4th of July almost every year.
